Congratulations to Kyah Morrissette, Will Wheaton and Johanna Stanley for their special commendation acting awards!
Congratulations to Brenna Ryder for her special commendation award for instrumental and vocal conducting!

We scored the most points overall of any school at our regional site (out of 10 schools) and received a perfect score for lighting design thanks to our amazing lighting designer Jennifer Bernier!

We also had a near-perfect score for costume design thanks to our costumer Kyah Morrissette!

Here are some comments we received at the festival:
"Wonderful, moving ensemble piece."
"Very clear immersive approach to the material, unflinching and rich."
"A bold, haunting, sensitive and powerful presentation of difficult material. Mature thoughtful portrayals. Good grasp of material. Challenging language and emotion. Some very compelling scenes and a spectacular finale."
"Impressive piece, outstanding work on difficult material. All elements worked together well. Music really enhanced the show and students playing and voices were lovely to hear and see. A real triumph."

We will be competing at the state competition March 21-22 in Camden Hills, Maine. For more festival information, check out the Maine Drama Council site here: https://sites.google.com/site/medramacouncil/home/festival-2014/2014-regionals
